We are a not for profit National Academy of Performing Arts for young people.
We are on a search for some of the most talented young people around the country! We strive to encourage young people to build confidences, social skills and to push the boundaries of the individuals capabilities so they can move forward, not only in performance but also in everyday life.
We seek to give young people a worth, a focus, a belief, in themselves.
National Academy has some of the most famous Musical Theatre stars as patrons to the group. These incredible individuals support us by carrying out work shops and master classes, teaching current industry standards and guiding our young people into their chosen career.
Lead by an experienced theatre director, the rehearsals will introduce new elements of core acting and performance skills to produce a confident and impressive final performance:
Places are limited, however, if you’re not sure if this is right for you, come along to a free taster session, all you need to do is email taster@nationalacademypa.co.uk and let us know which area you are in.
At NAPA we insist that out tutors inspire, train, and showcase exceptional performers and theatre technicians and nurture the needs in a group environment
Lessons are available on a one to one tuition basis.
Our low weekly fee is the talking point of all new members.
Our training is unique because we believe that the best place for young performers to learn is on stage in front of an audience. We showcase young talent on the West End stage once a year and in some of the most professionally equipped venues across the UK.
We are as ambitious and energetic in our approach as the young people we train.
It is the policy of NAPA and all its member academies to safeguard the welfare of all young people with which it works by protecting them from neglect and physical, sexual and emotional harm. Read our full safeguarding statement available on the website.
Many of our members have recently been accepted into high profile drama colleges across the country and for this we are very proud.
